This act authorizes any person employed full-time or temporary full-time in a wildland firefighting occupation by any state agency to be included as a firefighter member under the Wyoming Retirement System. This act provides an appropriation to the Office of State Lands and Investments to provide retirement contributions. The Office of State Lands and Investments is authorized to promulgate necessary rules to implement this act. Persons authorized to be law enforcement or firefighter members under this act may, if applicable, elect to continue as general members under the Wyoming Retirement System. The election may not be rescinded.
