Description

Caller Identification Information ; Prohibits transmission of misleading or inaccurate caller identification information; requires telecommunications company to provide telephone number & location from which each telephone call originates; requires telecommunications company to block all telephone calls & text messages that contain manipulated caller identification information; provides exceptions; requires telecommunications companies to implement framework to verify & authenticate caller identification information; requires each telecommunications company to file certification with Federal Communications Commission.
