+Summary of Legislation
+The bill requires that any legislative group consisting of one or more legislators that accepts or
+spends money in any month report the following information to Legislative Council Staff (LCS):
+• the group’s official name, contact information and designated legislative member; and
+• a report that includes receipts of all money the group received or spent in the previous
+month.
+The receipts must include the name and address of donors and the date of the donation. LCS
+most post each report on the General Assembly’s website with donor addresses redacted.
+State Expenditures
+The bill will minimally increase workload for LCS to receive, redact and post required reports.
+This effort does not require an increase in appropriations.
+Effective Date
+The bill takes effect upon signature of the Governor, or upon becoming law without his
+signature.
